Yes. That's how far I drove today from the moment I took Demelza to tennis practice, through driving her to her friend's house (passing ours on the way) back in the opposite direction to my friend in San Francisco, then down south to San Jose and back. That's what fandom means to me!

Orphan Black did not disappoint last night--exciting plot twists at every turn! Tatiana Maslany is just incredible--she played Sarah, Cosima, Helena, Alison and Rachel in this episode. All so different, all so intriguing. Plus, two other clones, Beth and MK, were mentioned.

Leaving for work in an hour--not much to write. I took yoga this morning and then did two continuing ed classes required for the RN license. Boring, both of them. One on Zika virus and one on Safe sleep for babies. Still--get paid to do them ( Read more... )

Had a headache for most of the day but I pop the advil and go forth. Starsky cat is being incredibly affectionate today and wants to be in my lap. He's trading off with Tegan who mostly wants to be in my lap when I'm on the computer. (Starsky is with me now) Lavender only wants food and lots of it. Got to bed early last night since I didn't work and had an odd dream. I was watching a movie with this weird sort of slave world (no, there was no sex) where the women were dressed quite scantily, but did all the work. The men did governmental jobs (I'm assuming passing laws to keep the women subjugated) and banking sorts of things while the women ( Read more... )

Currently watching The Professionals on youtube. Very cool--it's not at all one of my fave episodes--Foxhole on the Roof, but since I only own season one and two and this is later, it's still joy.
